Gaylord Texan

My sister and I took the boys to the Gaylord Texan the day after Christmas - we weren't ready for Christmas to end! Look at the gorgeous view from our room!
Sweet boy loved waking up to all of this fun!

Room service!

They had tons to see - Gingerbread houses, trains, presents, gorgeous trees, etc...

We also went to ICE - their amazing exhibit that has a theme each year. This year was Madagascar! We all had to wear these big jackets - it was 9 degrees inside! The boys watched a video first before their tour of Alex, Melman, Gloria, and Marty!

There were also ice slides - they rode them 3 times! Griffin's smile and laughter made the trip so worth it! Here is the face I saw - love him!

The boys also learned to be dragon trainers through Dreamworks How To Train Your Dragon experience. Here is Hiccup teaching the young trainers!

Then, they each got to ride a dragon! He loved this part!

You can see how much he loved it all - so glad we went to celebrate Christmas one more time!
We celebrated all our blessings from 2012 - we can't wait to see what 2013 has in store!

Christmas 2012

Merry Christmas from these two little elves on the shelf!
We had a great Christmas with everyone gathering at our new house! Griffin loved his Batman cave, workshop, and most of all.... the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle truck! This truck was the #1 item on his list - and Santa had a heck of a time putting all the little bitty stickers on it. But, he has driven it around all day!

My mom got us a mini chocolate fountain which made for a great dessert on Christmas Eve! The boys also loved decorating cookies for Santa. I LOVED my book on Friends from my sister! We cracked up at all our favorite episodes/quotes!

Mi-Maw and her sweet grandsons! The big boys are still so sweet and are so good with the little two. I know there's a proud Pop beaming down on all 4!

 My bro, sister, and me!
Griffin (4), Gage (almost 20 - whaaat??), Gunar (16), and Keaton (5)

We decided that our new house was our gift to each other - I definitely don't need anything else. Well, we randomly decided the day before Christmas to go check out kitchen tables...and what do you know? We found the perfect one, and it was delivered just in time! Our washer and dryer also went kaput so here are the pretty new washer and dryer. Call me weird, but I have washed clothes over the last day and LOVE it. These machines work SO FAST. Heaven for this busy mom!

My sister's other gift to me - collage of my love bug. Presh.

G's goodies from Santa. There's that truck again - it has been giving rides to the Avengers and turtles all day long!

Happy little boy...a leap pad 2, new PJ's, pool toys, puzzles, and more!

Helping Mi-Maw with her gifts!

More treats for sweet G!

Merry Christmas to all and to all a GOOD NIGHT!

Holiday fun!

We are enjoying some family and friend time during the busy holiday season. We are also so ready for time off - one more week! Happy birthday to Owen - what a blast we had at his gymnastics party! Mommy and Daddy went to Aunt Lori's Christmas sweater party where Daddy won first place (thx again, Lori lol).

I had fun hanging out with Mi-Maw and wishing my cousins Jack and Charlie a merry Christmas! Miss them! Mommy and I also did a Christmas tree craft - anything to get my hands dirty!

Happy holidays to all! Kiss your babies and always pray for God's goodness and comfort. Amen!

Polar Express Party

We usually do a pajama breakfast around Christmas, but since we get out so late, we had a polar express party instead! I made each child a ticket and bell. We also had delicious treats - especially Aunt Jill's snow man cupcakes! Hans was our conductor and punched each ticket before going on the express to see Christmas lights! And even better treat? My BFF Amy came from San Antonio!

We had a great turnout, and all the kids had a blast. It was also fun to end the night with Johnny Heisman! Gig 'em! What a great year to BELIEVE!
