Happy Mother's Day to all - especially to my mom, my sis, sis-in-law, and my beautiful Maw-Maws in heaven! I wouldn't be the mom I am today without all of them :)

Blueberries and more!

If Griffin could eat one food group for the rest of his life, it would be fruit.

Lately, his favorite has been frozen blueberries. He finds his bowl and sits sweetly on the ground, waiting for his frozen treat.

Last weekend, we took Mi-Maw to get a burger for her birthday. Man, does he love her.

Crawfish Boil!

This weekend was our annual crawfish boil. I am pretty sure the kids outnumbered the adults!

But, before that...you have to check out G's first mohawk. It was ROCK STAR week at school so they gave him a new "do" on Friday. Look how tall the back piece is! Maybe a first haircut is in our future??

We had a beautiful weekend and are so blessed by all our friends/family that came to visit!

Once again, Hans was a great chef - the crawfish was awesome!

Beautiful Weekend!

We spent a beautiful Sunday outside at the Houston Water Wall.

Griffin liked being sprayed by the "agua" as he called it. He really wouldn't stay still for one second - he never really does anymore!

A little girl and her family were blowing bubbles so G was very excited. He screamed "bubbles" and chased after them!

Run, Dada, run!

We had a great time, and the little guy is worn out! Not much longer until summer when we can run free all day. I am so ready for that!

Easter!

We had a great Easter weekend. It all started when Daddy took off on Good Friday and took me to see the Easter bunny. Let's just say I plan to erase that day from my memory. Someone needs to tell Santa no hard feelings because that bunny didn't get a smile from me either :)

We then went to Mi-Maw's house, and I got to play with ALL my cousins! Here I am with Keaton - he cracks me up and likes to dance as much as I do.

Mi-Maw gave me a "tar" (guitar), and I LOVE it. Mommy and Daddy try to sing songs and play. Someone tell them not to quit their day job.
Before we left for Mi-Maw's, the Easter bunny made sure to leave me a basket full of goodies - Elmo socks, jelly beans, books, and a Spiderman placemat - YIPPPEEE!

Oh, and Mommy had something called a "girls night" so she left me with Daddy. Look how much fun I had playing in the sprinkler! What's that you say? No, that's NOT my bathing suit. I just jumped right in with my regular clothes. Daddy ROCKS!

I loved every second!

7 random facts about me:

1. I get my PEOPLE magazine every Friday. You are not allowed to read it before me and try to tell me all the latest scoop (note to husband who does it to drive me crazy). I also do a quick flip through first then wait until later to read it all. Weird.


2. I wish I could play guitar and secretly want to learn.


3. I love to cook but have to have a recipe to follow. I can't make up dishes on my own.


4. When I eat at Chick Fil A (which is often), I eat my fries first then tackle my sandwich.


5. I hate green bell peppers but LOVE red ones.


6. Two of my favorite movies at GREASE 2 and THE PIRATE MOVIE. I can quote both and sing all the songs by heart. You're missing out if you haven't seen them. I own them if you want to borrow either one.


7. Everyday I look at Griffin and wonder what he will be when he grows up. I think President Reed, but that's just me.

The Best Spring Break EVER!

Griffin has had a very busy Spring Break, and we have loved every minute!

Our montly Dinner Club was at our house this month. I made tacos and margaritas - YUM. This is Griffin and Jackson Spencer - he is precious. The boys were chillin' at the man table.

Then, we spent St. Patty's day at Mi-Maw's house with Keaton. They love to hug!

We then took K and G to the rodeo carnvial. G's favorite thing to do was run free on the green hill. He was not too happy to be confined to the stroller again :)

We also spent Friday with Aunt Lori, Drake, and new baby Graham. Drake and G laughed so much. It was precious. G asked for Drake all the way home so more playdates are in our future for sure! I didn't get good pics because they were too fast!

Then, there's this....Hi, Keith (Urban, that is)

Our friends, the Saucedas, couldn't go to Keith so we upgraded our rodeo seats and look who stopped by?? My sister and I were shaking and screaming like a couple of teenagers.

Not looking forward to the return to work. Griffin is so fun and communicates so well. I have loved every second with him. Ten more weeks until summer!
