Thanksgiving 2014

We spent our Thanksgiving in Stephenville! It was  fun to see the cousins - especially with them close in age! Emmy really enjoyed her first Thanksgiving meal - and the nap with Daddy that followed!

Thankful for these blessings!

Fall Fun - Part III

We began our Thanksgiving holiday with a Turkey Day party at G's school. We had fun helping him make crafts, and he even got to come home early!

The break started with a girls' night with my dear friends from high school. We had a great time as always! I can't believe we have our 20th reunion next year!!

Keaton was able to come spend a few days with us too. My MOPs group had their annual visit to a local fire station so I took the kids. They had a great time!

A quick trip to the park for the cousins!

Zoo lights were also on the agenda for the week off - so fun to see the Barrett boys!

Turkey Day is up next - with a quick trip to the Ville!

Fall Fun - Part II

In November, it was the 50th day of school! Though G had no idea what that meant (and explaining it to  him went nowhere!), he dressed like his Pop use to! I thought he looked awesome!

He continues to do well with Tae Kwon Do and received his dark green belt at the beginning of November. I am so happy he loves it and continues to learn a great deal - especially about respect! Such a great lesson for the little ones!

We also concluded our 3rd soccer season with i9 sports - this time Daddy was the coach! It was a great season for the Fighting Falcons!

Keaton (Kiki) turned 7 too! Such a fun bowling party, and Emmy got her favorite things - MiMaw and pizza!

Little sister likes to wake up to this kid....it's not a happy morning if Bubba isn't the first to enter her room!

Fall Fun - Part I

We have enjoyed a busy fall - these littles are so much fun (and to keep it real....a little exhausting - ha!).  Griffin likes to join me at my boot camp class - he is a tough cookie and does the workouts sometimes!

Girls Night Out with my friends Brandy and Kristin - always much-needed and fun!

G also had his boosterthon fun run - he was having a good ol' time! Mi-Maw came to cheer him on - of course, little sister too!

Halloween 2014

Griffin and Emmy enjoyed many Halloween activities! Griffin had Dress Like Your Favorite Character at school - here is our ninja turtle!

We also were "boo'ed" by our neighbors and challenged to "boo" others - he loved it!

Emmy girl was able to wear her costume quite a bit - a spirited Texans Cheerleader!

She was able to cheer for her big bro - a Texans football player!

We had a great time riding around the neighborhood with our sweet neighbors! AJ, Clay, and Griffin had a great time!

Lil sister enjoyed the candy too!

During the fun Halloween weekend, we were able to make it to Dewberry Farm! I love taking the kids here each fall -  good family fun!

Mexico Vacation!

In late October, Hans and I went on vacation to Mexico! His best friend, Aaron, was getting married and asked Hans to be a part of his big day. We had a great time - no kids, no plans! We relaxed, read books, ate, and had a few cocktails! So much fun and much needed!
