Christmas 2014

We hosted my family on Christmas this year! I loved having my two older nephews over - and their girlfriends, too! Here is sweet Madison (Gage's girlfriend) with the younger kids. She was awesome with them and just so precious!

I think Pop is pretty proud of this bunch!

Kiki and G made cookies for Santa! They also sprinkled reindeer food for Santa's helpers!

Santa was good to the kiddos - glad to see they were on the NICE list :)

Emmy is a Frozen fan. She will sing LET IT GO on cue! LOVE!

Dear Santa, thanks SO much for the Snakeez - his #1 gift request. He has NOT been without this snack cup since Santa left it for him. So random and cracks me up!

G has been asking for a basketball hoop for quite a while. Santa left this ball as a hint - and we found the hoop ready to go outside! He got a little nervous that Santa forgot the hoop, but thankfully, he pulled through!

Guess what Emmy has done since discovering her new slide?? She has gone up and down all. day. long. Little daredevil, this one.

Anna and Elsa love.

A little bb game after breakfast....

My little dream come true also wore her first pigtails on Christmas day. We all just melted into a puddle after watching her run around with her little bows.

The Reed family is blessed with another year of fantastic friends and family! As this year comes to a close, we reflect on what is really important and how we love each other through it all.

Merry Christmas and best wishes for a HAPPY 2015!
Love, Hans, Kim, Griffin, and Emmy

Holiday Happenings!

We returned from Disney World ready to take on the holidays at home! My MOPs group had a Christmas breakfast that included a visit from Santa and some crafts - check out lil miss enjoying her cookie!

Every year, I make the Pioneer Woman's cinnamon rolls to give as gifts and to have for Christmas morning. This year, I had the perfect sous chef!

She also found Bubba's pirate patch - she ran to find it one day when watching Jake and the Neverland Pirates. You can take the girl outta Disney, but you can't take Disney outta the girl :)

She was just too cute during the .4 seconds she wore this headband. She opted for the Minnie Mouse purse for our shopping trip. And who knew they made hot pink carts?? Super exciting.

Big brother had fun at his holiday party at school - complete with games, crafts, and Santa!

We spend quite a bit of time outside with the kids. Our sweet neighbor, Bella, is pretty much a new member of our family. She is so good with both kids!

We had the Odells and VanCompernolles over for a holiday dinner complete with a hot chocolate bar and a trip to see Christmas lights!

Our friend invited us to his home for a traditional Mexican posada. It is a beautiful tradition where you reenact Joseph and Mary's journey to find a place to stay before our Savior's birth. My sweet girl and I before we left for Gerardo's.

And look who was asked to play Joseph! He did a great job! I loved this holiday celebration so much - G asked many questions, and it started some good discussion about what this season is really about!

The traditional pinata was a huge hit for the kids!

We also took G ice skating to finish out all the holiday fun! What sweet memories - we laughed ourselves silly! How perfect is this face??

The holidays are a time for us to catch up with old friends! We got to meet sweet babies Caroline and William and see their mommy, Page! Emmy also made a new friend with this sweet pup.

I love the fun of the holidays as well as the memories made! So far, it's been a wonderful holiday season!

Disney Vacation 2014 - Part II

Overall, we took over 1,000 pictures on our trip! There is an awesome option called the Magic Maker where you can get pictures taken by Disney photographers all over the parks. Then, they scan your magic band, and your pictures are saved and sent to you! Highly recommend!

But back to the candid shots....Hans was able to celebrate his birthday with a couple of buddies!

Yo ho, let's go!

First stop at Hollywood Studios - signing up G to be a jedi! So much fun!

Frozen, of course! The kids (and dad) loved playing in the real snow!

The Art of Animation was next to our hotel, so the kids took a quick trip over to see some good friends!

The Christmas decorations at Disney are simply stunning! Emmy and I enjoyed this beautiful gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian resort. G and K enjoyed eating a piece!

My favorites!

Enchanted Tales with Belle - the boys were part of the show!

The beautiful light show at Hollywood Studios - so festive!!

Our little trooper!

Character Breakfast at Chef Mickey!

Epcot fun - our faces on Spaceship Earth!

World Showcase - first stop - Mexico and a margarita!

Then a little vino in Italy!

And a beer in Germany!

We had an amazing time! What a fun family vacation! Disney, we miss you already!

Until next time....

Special thanks to my mom and sister for all the fun and planning that went into this magical experience!!
